Our need for human connection transferred into the digital realm as our lives adapted to living and working remotely. As social animals, we built digital bridges when social distancing became a health necessity. The transition is evident from visitor data for websites with a human interaction component (such as Twitch or Zoom), which saw a far more significant increase in visits than passive websites.
