Taking to the stage at the IFAD Governing Council meeting, Digital Planet Chair Bhaskar Chakravorti elaborated on the undersung use cases of “small AI” for solving the complex problems facing farmers across Sub-Saharan Africa. Previewing Digital Planet's forthcoming research on AI tools for smallholder farmers, Chakravorti championed creative solutions to tackling challenges of crop health, protection, and marketing in rural areas.
